This is just info I have found over the years of ordering several Ford trucks and buying way too many new cars in my life time. These are Ford plans not after market, you fill it out online and they mail you your proof of ESP. If nothing else use their figure to make your local dealer match it. My savings was right at 50% less from what my local dealer wanted. They sell on line and at a high volume passing the savings on to their customers. I have used Flood Ford and can highly recommend and are the two I'm aware of. The dealer can usually provide the rail information as well.Īlso there a few Extended Service Plans ESP sold by Ford dealers at greatly reduced rates than probably what your dealer will offer you. I did this with a 2013 FFH Titanium I had special ordered and knew up to the day when it where it was once it shipped. Since this is like 5 years ago, it may have changed a bit, but if you can find out the rail line and car it is loaded on, you can find the tracking information for that rail line to at least figure out how close to home it is. Most times, it won't provide an ETA (and anyways, it's likely not an ETA related to your vehicle specifically). When prompted for the next car, press # or say "Done".Ī recorded voice will tell you the last known arrival or departure location of your rail-car.When prompted for the car number, say or press your 6 digit ETTX car number. When prompted for the car initials, say "ETTX" or press 32-81-81-92.When prompted for location or weight, press 1 or say "location".If your truck is transported to your dealer by rail you can get updates on that also but be warned it's a bit of a challenge sometimes. See the attached images containing annotations of what (most of) the various segments and codes indicate. Window Stick Explained (see photos below) Ever wonder what all those meaningless codes and numbers at the top and bottom of your window sticker mean? Wonder no further! It means nothing so don’t waste time trying to decipher it. Before your truck is built, the ETIS build date is only a placeholder, something like. About a week or so before your vehicle actually goes into production you will be able to print you window sticker from this link.ĮTIS: Electronic Technical Information System: ETIS contains lots of useful information about your truck AFTER it’s built. Remove the VIN off the end of this link (in red) and put yours in place of it.

The 2021 data is not loaded yet but when it does you can see and download the manual for your 2021 truck here. Stock orders are what the dealer orders for their lots to sell. Retail orders at a dealer are pre-sold units, those are the ones folks special order. If you have some additional links that provide such information please list it and I will add it here so all is in one location. Also info that can help you actually track the train rail car if your truck is shipped that way (have to verify that still is working). It would be noted in the factory Build Sheet/other paperwork for construction of the car.Īs normally used, on a two-tone car the first letter is the lower color, second letter is the upper color. In order to centralize information for tracking you F150 order I have gathered sever links I have used over the years and will post them here.

The letter "S" in a color code stands for 'special', and is usually another color available that model year but not normally one available on that particular model, or some other special treatment. These charts have the codes for engines, transmissions and rear axles. These charts shows the various Body Type & Style code numbers. For '55 it's most likely the one at the top. Use the one that matches yours the closest. This one shows the the two types of data plates used between '55 & '57. If you open each in a new Tab it's easier to look between them. Here are a few links to some info for you.
